Being in Human Resources, like a marathon, can be an endurance event. Get ready to be energized, encouraged, and inspired by the amazing story of Matt Jones overcoming insurmountable odds. After relearning how to walk, he went from being a three-time cancer conqueror to completing seven marathons on seven continents. From Matt’s presentation, you will learn how to navigate the marathon of HR better.

NOTE: This is a special 2-hour event. The 1st hour is Matt's presentation, and the 2nd hour will be an optional working seminar.

As an HR Professional, you will leave Matt’s Seminar:

  • Unveiling the foremost method to rejuvenate and invigorate your HR journey.
  • Identifying three pivotal choices that pave the way for guiding yourself and others through adversity and change.
  • Embracing the significance of adopting a solution-oriented approach over a problem-focused mindset.
  • Drawing inspiration from Matt’s awe-inspiring journey of conquering cancer thrice and accomplishing seven marathons across seven continents, all after the arduous task of relearning to walk and undergoing a bone marrow transplant.

Three Key Objective Takeaways:

1) Business Management and Strategy

  • How to create positive organizational change and culture
  • How to model positive core values and characteristics

2) Human Resource Development

    • How to provide coaching based on the Field of Positive Psychology
    • How to develop one’s personal leadership skills

3) Risk Management

    • How to apply motivational, leadership, and human relations concepts based on the Field of Positive Psychology

Additionally, the first 75 in-person registrants will receive a copy of Matt Jones’s bestselling book, "Life's a Marathon: 26.2 Ways to Stay Motivated," and Matt will be available post-event for book signings, offering advice, and photo opportunities.
